We needed just 100 square ft of sod or so and looked online for sod dealers in the area. We hit a home run with Super-Sod. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and guided us to the best solution for us. If you are in the market for sod, Super Sod is your place. I could not recommend them more enthusiastically!

I came to Super Sod after purchasing my first home that had a less than stellar yard I needed to address. I met Brandon who was patient and incredibly knowledgeable — I came in knowing nothing about a bermuda renovation and he walked me through the whole process. He has been a huge resource throughout this year guiding me through soil prep, herbicide, fertilizer, to the watering and mowing schedule after. He has analyzed dozens of my progress update pictures without complaint. They call it Tif Tuf Bermuda for a reason and it’s been awesome to see it come to life. I look forward to continuing to work with Super Sod and Brandon for years to come.

Third time buying from super-sod. The first was our home in Easley, where we put in a hybrid Zoysia and it was stunning! Then about 4 years ago, we put in Zeon Zoysia at our new home and it's been great. This past week, in the highest heat of the year, we put in 3000 sqft of Zeon Zoysia and we were so lucky to get it brought in early in the morning so our landscape guy could get started Jesse the driver was just the greatest. He put it exactly where we needed it and had a smile on his face even though it was already miserable hot. The sod was in as good of shape as you could ask for. I've looked at every piece and all but one was pretty consistent and I believe we're off to a good start! That was a lot of sod for my guys to install but they did a good job in spite of the extreme heat.

Overall OK experience. All 6 pallets of Zeon were fresh when delivered and the driver was great. I ordered much more than I needed and it’s a good thing I did - a large percentage of these rolls never should’ve made it on the pallet in my opinion. MANY areas of bare root mat with no soil, while some rolls were literally torn to shreds. It’s coming in alright but at $10/roll throwing out a bunch of rolls stung. Be prepared for nutsedge - it is all throughout my freshly laid sod - as well as a TON of frogs and toads of various varieties.

I just bought 2 pallets of sod from these people and it was horrible. Now I have bought sod from them before and it was ok but this time it was terrible. so I called them up and complained. The edges on the side was butchered along with some other pieces that looked like it was put through a meat grinder. Well, I had the ground ready and rain on the way so I used it thinking it would get better down in the pile. Nope!. So I called and talked to the rep and they'd get back with me. Emailed me back and said "Sorry, we'll give you a credit of 25 roll pieces and you can pick it up." I remailed back and said seeing how I had paid for shipping to deliver it they can bring it to me. Nope. We'll credit you money or you can pick it up. VERY, VERY, bad business. I won't be buying from these people again, especially when I paid 250.00 delivery fee..... update 06/04/25 Talked to the area manager. He refunded my full delivery fee and apologized for the bad sod and experience. With service like that I'll try them again. Gave it a 4 star seeing how they made it right.
